The retail organisation with its more than 900 points of sale had initiated the project in order to improve the planning and analysis of all marketing activities beyond the standard possibilities available with SAP Retail. The goals were a holistically integrated promotion planning process without media discontinuities, consistent advertising budget monitoring, convenient operation, lower support costs and high economic efficiency. "With RapidRetail PP&C from retailsolutions, we were able to achieve a significant increase in efficiency," says Mario Martins, Head of Digital Corporate Development at Volg. Other important benefits are an optimisation in terms of transparency, evaluation possibilities and a much lower susceptibility to errors. In addition, thanks to the use of the SAP Fiori design language and standard interfaces, the effort required for a future migration to S/4HANA is reduced. The project was realised in only three months.

The solution includes visual rough planning of activities, advertising media and places on an annual view, personalised views with mass maintenance, intuitive administration thanks to drag-and-drop and copy-and-paste features and allows a fully integrated promotion process with integration in trade promotion, condition contract and the advertising agency.
