Different prices for the same item in different shops or sales channels can irritate customers. With SAP Omnichannel Promotion Pricing (OPP) in SAP CAR, retailers can centralise their sales and promotion price calculation. This ensures consistent prices in SD orders, promotions, bonus buys and in the POS system.
With the new Omnichannel Promotion Pricing Service (OPPS) in the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), an innovation platform in which all applications work together in a centralised manner, this function can now be easily extended to digital sales channels. The cloud service thus builds a bridge to digital commerce and also supports third-party webshops, mobile apps and social media shopping platforms.
Integration of OPPS in S/4HANA
SAP OPPS can be easily connected to SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP CAR using the integration scenarios supplied by SAP.
In addition, retailsolutions offers an integration scenario which allows retailers to connect their S/4HANA system with SAP OPPS. This will also enable smaller retailers who have not previously relied on SAP Commerce Cloud or SAP CAR to use the new OPPS solution. The solution will soon be available on the SAP Industry Cloud as an "SAP-Qualified Partner-Packaged Solution".
